Let’s see what happens

“I want to see what happens if I don’t give up”

How this quote applies to me right now:

Being almost one month post show means I’m adapting to life after competing. This encompasses reverse dieting, continuing a rigorous training schedule, all while reintegrating certain practices back into my life and cutting back on others.

Sometimes reversing feels tedious and I get discouraged when it just feels like a continuation of competition prep.

But mostly, I feel energized and excited for what’s next!

Since I only prepped for 9 weeks I’m about half way through my reverse (you often reverse for the same amount of time that you prepped).

Adapting to a more normalized schedule and intuitive way of eating is what I’m striving for and what the quote is all about for me!

Step by step, I’m taking it one day at a time and not thinking of anything in terms of “black and white.” Everything happens on a spectrum and my main goal in this winter season is to take everything is stride.

It’s easy to blow things out of proportion and then feel like we’ve taken 10 steps back in an instant when it took serious time to take 1 single step forward.

That’s why my intention is to be patient with myself and SURRENDER to whatever it is that I’m feeling.

It’s important to acknowledge and sit with our feelings without letting them control our actions.

Self-love and self-compassion are KEY.

I am ready for this next chapter in my life. It’s going to be the best one yet–that I’m sure of :)!

Not giving up on my intentions– I’ll keep you posted as to what happens.

Be well xx.
